Some new Stargate Worlds screens just popped up on Ten Ton Hammer, showing off never seen before scenes from the Castle! Take a look at the various settings in this Op-Core world showed off here.
In this first image we get to see what has to go through as a medical lab, I must say though that it’s far from what I see in the hospital, haha. The op-core must be living in third world conditions… is that mold I see on the operating table?! I wouldn’t want to end up lying here, it’d probably only increase the chances of dying!
The scene could also use some more clutter, you know like place in some of those machines which say “beep” and all. It looks rather empty as it is now, but I bet as the game progresses in development that’ll happen.
This place is filled up a bit more, I like the little medkit lying on the crate in the front of the screen. It adds some gameplay elements to it. Let’s hope of course that it’s a usable medkit and not just there as decoration.
Obviously lighting is practically absent in the screenshot and certain graphical effects appear not to be present as well overall this shot doesn’t look too bad. It could use some more clutter though, making it appear a bit fuller for a storage room.
Haha, I dunno what to think about this one. The picture was entitled cellblock, I guess overcrowded prison cells have found a sollution by simply stuffing people into statis pods.
They look really cool and I hope when you look up it’s sort of a matrix effect, not just 2 of these rows above each other but countless. Having dozens if not hundreds of these pods stacked like that really overwhelming you as a player with the quantity of prisoners which would be there or be place for.
This scene looks pretty nice, sort of as what you’d expect from it I’d say. Some points of interest though in this picture:
- The vehicle - Perhaps at some point in time will there be an option to drive vehicles or will they just function as decoration? Obviously the engine would easily support driving vehicles but is it what CME would want to see?
- An artillery is set up in the left side of the shot - Can it be player controlled as a defensive weaponry sort of opposing siege weaponry as seen in some mmo’s these days? Automatically controlled by the server? Or simply a form of decoration.
- The camera - They can be seen in some of the other shots as well, but clearly to be seen here. Just a form of decoration or will there be a control room within the base as well from which players can check on what’s happening in the various locations?
There are several more screens available at Ten Ton Hammer, I selected 4 which I thought looked best and was most to say about but there are 6 others so be sure to check them out.
