Both Turkey and the Czech republic are still in the position of going on to the quarter finals tonight, it all comes down to their match against each other tonight. Who will prove to be the strongest of these two teams!
Both of the teams have won their match against Switzerland and lost against Portugal, both have made 2 goals and had 3 goals in return and both teams still have all possibilities open. These are the matches which promise to be exciting, it’s all going to come down to which of them performs the best tonight.
Let’s hope to see that even with the risks at stake it’ll remain a clean match rather than a card fest with yellow and red flying all over the place. In the end I think the Czechs are going to come out of the match as victors, scoring 2:1 in their favor.
Tonight’s second match between Switzerland and Portugal will most likely be rather boring, Portugal will probably make one relatively quick goal just to score the additional points but leave it to that. Switzerland has nothing to fight for anymore anyway as their chances of going through towards the quarter finals were blown away in the 93rd minute of the match against Turkey.
In yesterday’s matches the second match between Russia and Greece wasn’t too spectacular to see. Russia did perform better than in the match against Spain but still they have quite a bit to go I’d say. And well as for Greece they once and for all showed they were nothing more than a one-day-fly 4 years ago.
The match between Sweden and Spain was more interesting, as somewhat expected though Spain won but I must admit the goal in the 92nd minute made it a really close draw. The way things are looking now Sweden will most likely win the match against Russia during its next match and face Holland in the quarter finals to be obviously eliminated there and grant us passage to the semi-finals.

I believe that Turkey is going to win, perhaps by penalty shootout, but win they will. From what I’ve seen, Turkey is the better team (despite what most “experts” seem to think). Probably 1-0 or 1-1 in fulltime.
And the Portugal-game remains to be seen, even though Portugal has won against the better teams, they’re gonna rest som key-players and thanks to that, Switzerland might take the chance to at least get one point out of this tournament.

Thanks for the input. It seams that the outcome of Czech versus Turkey is still completely open, even amongst the viewers. That perhaps only promises for more excitement as they’re closely matched up.
Definitely true that Portugal will rest their key players here, so perhaps Switzerland might get some luck and finish the game in a draw. But I doubt they’re going to be getting any more out of it than that.

As I wrote earlier on this post. Motivation and lack of their key-players made quite the difference. But now, their benchwarmers has gotten some time on the grass too so I won’t be expecting this to happen again..!
And I agree with Hatullatua, Portugal will win this cup, Holland second, maybe Croatia, Spain…
