A glorious victory!

Who would ever have thought that, a 3:0 victory for the Dutch team versus the Italians! They got totally crushed, what a beautiful opening game for this year’s EC. With such a match it’s pretty certain to be seeing us continue till at least the quarter finals.

Three to null, a victory I was expecting to see for France, the Dutch match really went well and so far it’s been the match I enjoyed most this EC. Really can’t wait to see them play again next time when they’ll be facing France, the country which yesterday came out with a rather poor result coming out in a draw versus Romania. I must admit, I really expected a lot more from France.

If France plays against Holland the same way as they did against Romania we’re probably going to be seeing another glorious victory on the upcoming Friday. It’s a Friday the thirteenth though, but let’s hope the bad luck is going to be on their side!

Tonight we’ll be seeing the first match played by Spain versus Russia, a match which I expect to be see won by Spain with a score of 2:0 with not too much trouble.

Second match tonight will be between Sweden and Greece, because of my girlfriend being a Swede I’m supposed to be cheering for Sweden tonight, hehe. I do expect them to win though, although I must say Greece is a pretty weird country when it comes to football. During the history of WC and EC I believe they qualified 3 times before, twies got kicked out in the first round and during the previous EC suddenly surprised everybody as they won the finals.
