MMO’s have been up for a change for quite some time now, it’s time for the so called next-gen MMO. Whether gpotato’s street gears rollerblading mmo is going to be just that, I doubt, but it sure looks interesting.
Well, nothing is strange enough to gpotato. They’re perhaps best known for their MMO FlyFF, a fantasy based free to play mmo which is played by millions across the globe. But they do have multiple other titles on their name as well.
Street Gears will be the next title added to their evergrowing collection of free to play games, coming this June. Purpose of the game? Rollerblade! Got to give it to them, it’s something different for a change, not your regular whacking of monsters.
The cell shading technique which is being used along with the effects does play in perfectly on giving the game a certain anime or manga sensation to it.
I’m not sure how great the replayability factor on such a game as this would be, but got to give it to gpotato it looks quite interesting to at least play every now and then.

Sorry, not sure. Even the release for German gpotato has been delayed from June 2008 to just summer 2008 in general now. And with it already being practically end July, it’s probably going to be August before they get it and I bet at least a couple of months before international gpotato picks it up.
