The progress of designing a new layout for a blog can be a slow one, but as long as you’ll manage to keep your focus and don’t rush things through you’ll get there.
About a week has passed since the last entry regarding the upcoming design change for Slevi. Since then progress has been coming by quite gradually as porting towards the wordpress system has begun and it’s mainly some finishing touches which are currently being given on most of it.
Some features I’m still not too satisfied with or haven’t been touched yet, for example the comment layout or some parts of the sidebar. All in all though those will be minor changes which shouldn’t take too long to complete up on.
There are some essential parts though which are still lying in their building blocks, or so to say. These will probably be at least a couple more days before they’re getting near completion. All in all, combining these facts with an exam coming up next week, I think it’ll take at least another week before I’ll transfer the new design to the live domain.
