enchanted My girlfriend and I decided to go to Enchanted yesterday, or actually she’d been telling me for quite some time before that already that we had to go so I suppose there was no escape from it now was there? Of course before going to the actual movie the wait between getting the ticket and the movie starting was mainly walking around through the city center and eating a very healthy “dinner” at the McDonald’s.

As the movie was about to begin within about half an hour we went to the cinema’s to find our seats, well that wasn’t much of a challenge. It’s not been the first time I’ve been in the cinema of Karlskrona, but those rooms just remain so damn small it’s unimaginable that cinema’s like that still exist. There were probably not even 75 seats available, whilst being used to around 300~400 seats that’s a major difference.

But of course you all are most likely dying to know how the movie itself was, aren’t I right? The start was sort of weird, it starting out as a cartoon and all; although Disney once made a statement they’d never make any non-animated cartoon anymore they probably just couldn’t keep up with that and had to sneak it into a movie like this.

As the movie continued though it remained a real Disney movie, even if it included real actors within the city of New York there was still the singing, dancing and “fighting” you’d except from a Disney movie along with the fairy tale aspect.

The movie definitely was worth quite a good laugh, our fairy tale figures so didn’t fit in to the real life world pretty much every action they made was even more comical than the previous.

Unfortunately many things were quite predictable, I suppose there’s not much surprise there anymore though; most fairy tales after all are quite alike so once you’ve seen one you’ve pretty much seen most of them. But for the little kids I guess that shouldn’t be an issue at all.

Discussion on this Article

  1. Even your cinema theater is more fine than here at our place. Here its more difficult and also there are some theaters which are not even clean. Realy messy and also costly.

  2. I guess it can always be worse indeed, thanks for your comment.

  3. I tried to get my boyfriend to take me to this film, but he just wasn’t having it. Like all girls, i cant resist a disney film.

  4. Hehe, guess for some guys going to see a Disney movie is too big of a challenge :P. Of course all of us can fight a bear with 1 hand tied behind our backs, but Disney movies are still a no-no for some of us :P.
