It’s hard to believe as to how fast the past year has gone by already, just about 25 days left till it’ll officially be 2008. Both within my personal life as when looking at my studies a lot has happened, whether I take the getting into modeling, drawing and photoshop a bit more for example or the internships I did for my studies till the summer I spent with my girlfriend it has been an inspirational, education and perhaps most importantly fun year.

Also for this blog the year 2007 has meant a lot, where as in 2006 it was still standing in it’s baby shoes it moved on quite a lot since then I’d day. Although just as many other things I have done in the past balance can sometimes be hard to find Slevi has become more and more on one line when it comes to defining what it’s about, simply put “my life”.

Of course the change in design which came after the summer and gave a fresh start for this blog in some way has greatly aided to that, the focus which got lost has definitely been restored. Even though initial thoughts on exactly what to do have yet to be really put into action I guess that’s something which adds just that other personal touch of me, but one thing is certain; one day I’ll definitely get around to it.

Perhaps within the next year it might find a place? Although just like last year I’m definitely not going to be setting definite plans for the next year but I will be getting a bit back into programming, after having spent the past year learning up on modeling, photoshop and drawing I’ve decided that next year I’ll combine these various factors and go playing around again with C# and XNA.

For those not familiar, C# is a programming language which can be used to write various applications whilst XNA is a so called ‘library’ which you can use along with C# for game development. I suppose that’s the easiest way of explaining it without going too much into details.

Of course I could only wish to produce something really great out of this, but most likely it’ll just be a minor project whilst continuously improving my skills. As long as in the end I can say I enjoyed doing so then already I can say it was worth doing so.

It’s also going to be the year in which Slevi will has existed 2 years, although still around 7 months away we’re definitely drawing closer towards it with every day passing by. Who could ever have thought when I began this blog that I would ever even dare to speak about it existing 2 years, it’s hard to comprehend at times but it appears to becoming a reality.

How this achievement for Slevi will be celebrated is still uncertain, but I do wish to make the third year of Slevi greater and better than ever before. As already said though, this is still months away so plenty of time left to think about it.

Not just Slevi will be heading for 2 years, but even sooner than that would be the day I’d be together with my girlfriend for 2 years. Of course that as well would be a moment which would ask for a celebration so I hope we could be together during that day, but even if not it definitely shouldn’t be forgotten. With her too I definitely hope there’ll be many more years to come!

As far as my education is concerned I hope to be moving forward as well, currently within my third year already the start of 2008 would pretty much be the start of the second term as well with a 4 week internship up front. Although the first grade of the third year wasn’t too great, I will definitely be trying my best to be scoring as high as I can moving on well towards the fourth year.

All in all 2007 has been a great year, let’s hope that 2008 will become even better!
