Since I have been blogging for Slevi I actually never really took the chance to look back at the months before that, the focus always used to be the future. I have decided to give a little twist to that and look back at what the past month has brought me. Seeing as to how this is the first time for me doing this as well, but let’s see if it’s going to be a nice way of summarizing my month together.
The first days of the month could have been better probably, with the WD myBook which broke it definitely was a bit of a bummer. On top of that the days were quite rainy and my roof still was leaking along as well, making me find the floor covered with a layer of water at times. About a week ago or so the roof has been fixed, so with the winter coming up I can rest assured that it’ll no longer be leaking. As for the myBook, well the myBook was replaced with a brand new one; the service which the store offered has been great even though it took some time.
Not just was there some bad luck with broken things in the beginning of the month, but I also had an exam coming up. It’s one of those things which always gives some additional stress and takes up quite a deal of your time, but in the end I think it went quite alright. It’s always a bit hard to say for certain and it can take over a month to get the results in, but my gut says it didn’t go too bad.
As things calmed down towards the end of the month it did suddenly become a heck lot colder though, where as in the beginning of the month we still saw temperatures of around 18 degrees it rarely tops 10 now, at night it has even reached freezing point at times.
The avid gamer as I am I also began playing Ragnarok Online again, joined up with my guild and yesterday I actually reached the status of transendant. For those not familiar with the game it basically indicates having reached the maximum level, after that you can choose to be reborn. Being reborn offers you the chance of a better class, giving more health and additional skills to use.
Slevi hasn’t been doing half bad either, even though the end of the month hasn’t really been reached yet it has received over 16.000 unique visitors already, making it probably about 19~20 thousand by the end of the month. So far that’s definitely been the highest figure I’ve seen so far with this blog, it’ll be interesting to see whether it’ll rise or not.
Tomorrow my girlfriend will be arriving in Holland again so we’ll be spending some time together, so that’s why I wrote this entry a bit short before the real end of the month. I could have written it up front of course and used the wordpress timestamp to place it ahead of my time, but then it would simply miss out on the last week of the month rendering it sort of pointless.
I hope it went well, I tried not to write too much but really summarize the month into a couple of main points. Let’s see if I can make a monthly thing out of this though, it’d be a great way to pick out some highlights in what happened :-).
