What would you like to be said about you at your funeral? Think of a deceased loved one - what is the one thing you’ll remember the most about him/her?
Something I have absolutely never thought about… I don’t know what I’d want to have said on my funeral, personally I couldn’t even really care too much about it since I don’t believe it’s something I’ll get to hear anyways. When thinking about it a bit though I’d say the truth, rather than coming with some shitty story just display me as who I was.
I have no deceased loved ones, never even been to a funeral to begin with, so the second part of the question is something I won’t be able to answer.

In highschool, we had a writing assignment to project our lives and then write our obituary. Such a morbid assignment. I think you go through stages though,
the party time free spirt stage (youth) where it is just playing and birthday parties,
the emerging adult with responsibilities, new jobs, marriage, children (20’s and 30’s),
the placid years where you are comfortable with yourself (late 30’s 40’s)
and then in your 50’s and beyond that is when your life changes the most — you lose your parents, your children are grown and leave the nest, you may have grandchildren, health issues emerge.
That is my take from my observations.
Have a great day. I made you my new best friend and put you on my blog roll. Hope that makes your day. LOL

Haha, w00t, a new online friend :D.
What a high school assignment though, we sort of skipped that here I believe, at least know I never had to do it :P. But at such a young age it’s just a question which is still so impossible to answer for most of us, dying is pretty much the last thing you’re thinking off at that age.

I think the point of the assignment was to envision what sort of life you wanted to lead, what direction would you head in, what would you want to accomplish, how would you want to live and what would people say about you when you were gone, something like that.
It was shocking when the teacher told us to do it.
We had a few days to think about it before turning in our obit.

I envy you that you have not had to go through a loss yet. It was a tough question , but I answered too. Have a great week ahead!

I have never been to a funeral either so I actually dread the first one I have to attend. I posted mine too and it wasn’t an easy one to think about.
