During the past couple of weeks I was already running the beta versions of wordpress 2.3 but just now I made the switch for real and introduced the final version of the new wordpress to my blog. For those who haven’t been really following which changes it comes with you must definitely check out the ten things you must know about wordpress 2.3.
So far it’s been running smoothly and no problems occurred at all when it comes to compatibility with plugins from what I’ve seen. If you want to check which plugins I’m using you can check my top 15 wordpress plugins.
The latest feature which I’ve been waiting for the most is native tagging support, it’s great to finally have that there although it’s definitely also something which will allow me to go completely overkill with. I already had over 100 categories before, I’ve reduced these by far since I converted them to tags, but now the amount of tags is growing rapidly.

Too bad… some of my plugins didn’t compatible with Wordpress 2.3.
