I suppose there’s a lot of interesting historical figures which we could pick out for a question like this but in the end I think I’d go for Leonardo da Vinci. It would be fascinating to read up on his work in the field of science as it actually progresses, truly an entire world opening up rather than just reading about it all at once when it already took place.
Unlike a lot of other great historical figures da Vinci probably is one of the few which actually did a lot of work in many different fields, of course there are others but most just kept on going within their sole interest making it a drag to read up on day after day or week after week.

At first, I was thinking it would be my dad. But after reading further, I think it would be… Hitler. I guess I’m interested on what his thought was after the war.
By the way, just want to say that it maybe better to change the red to another colour as it’s a bit hard to read… just an suggestion.

Thanks for the suggestion :), already brightened it up once since it was a bit dark on my old fashioned screen but it’s hard these days to get a real impression on when something is too dark or too bright with the great variety of different screens.
Will look into making it a step brighter and see how it ends up looking then soon :).
Hitler indeed would be a nice one too although after the war I don’t think there would be much left to read except someone who’s totally been destroyed in every way, his thoughts before and during the war I’d go for then. Having it directly come from him, preferably in a real personal form, seeing in how his thoughts truly were.

Oscar Wilde. I can’t think of anyone who was as witty and acerbic.

Hello — I am relatively new to Blog Talkers. I stopped on by to read your post, a most interesting choice indeed.
Leonardo was quite an academic. He is also an inspiration to living a life with purpose.
