Looking for a gallery plugin

I decided to start looking for a gallery plugin for wordpress and came across the so called NextGeN Gallery made by Alex Rabe, unfortunately my mouse is currently nearly empty and I got no new batteries lying around so hard to install it at the moment but I’ll do so during the weekend to give it a test run. I was wondering though if anyone would have any experiences with this plugin or perhaps know another plugin of which they’d say is definitely a good alternative as well?

Like many others I'm a slave to modern society dominated by mass media, I can be hooked on the latest series for months without missing a single episode or simply having to see a certain movie.

And if you thought music wouldn't be included there, you're dead wrong! Practically non stop I listen to music from various artists, I just can't stand the silence anymore.
