I have decided that rather of beginning with texturing the lab scene I will keep the focus on modelling for a while first and in order to do this I will yet again follow a Simply Maya disc, this time the Spitfire Plane modeling disc. This will give me a chance to improve my modelling skills first, getting used more and more to designing and creating things in 3D.
In this disc a classic spitfire will be modelled, due to it’s not too complex nature I expect this to be going quite smooth and a nice step in learning a bit more before going for organic modelling.
No clue what a spitfire is? I guess the following image will probably clear it all up for you.
