That’s right, I passed my last exam! Although the grade wasn’t top, it’s still sufficient enough to pass so that’s nice to know. Covers the first 3 exams already giving hope on having some summer holidays this year ;).
We also today had to cover some sort of nursing educational session to prepare us for 2 weeks from now, when we will have to do some work in a nursing home for 2 weeks. For this we learned how we would help to dress people, go to the toilet, wash and some more things. Now to see how this all folds out in practise.
I’ve also found some time to continue on the 3D Trainer - Maya beginner and beyond disc. Covered some more of the real basics and on how to split polygons, cut faces, split and merger vertices, extrude faces and some more. All pretty simply stuff which was basically just a refreshment again, although split vertices took a while to find because the function got renamed in the menu to “Detach Component”.
These kind of minor complications though are a nice reason to have restarted with the basics, making you familiar with where everything is to be found with ease making it easier to work once you are truly starting.
Tomorrow will be my last day of the week before a three day weekend, a time to study but also to continue with the training disc. Now first though I’ll be going to stop and watch Prison Break which is starting.
