It is something I have been working on for quite some time already, just bits by bits on a daily basis. Recently though it reached 100.000 entries in the database, sounds like a lot, but it isn’t that much when you think of it. There were some problems though with the content in the database since a lot of testing and playing around with the fetcer caused inpartial and faulty data to be inserted along instead of the actual data.
To resolve these issues I have simply decided to wipe that data and let it fetch things over again, this time with a correct fetcher. It basically runs by feeds on an hourly basis and checks for updates now, this results in well over 250 new articles within just several hours already even though I haven’t added all the feeds yet I had in the past. I am currently still working on improving the method content will be displayed and such, at some point I hope to be able to release it for public usage as well.
What exactly the concept will be I will not yet reveal, but it will go beyond just simply taking in your latest articles.
